Tucked along side the Badaling Great Wall is a newly renovated traditional courtyard style
guest house. Rooms all have private western style bathrooms and join into the central courtyard, which is covered and plushly decorated.
The food is excellent and you can enjoy Chinese tea or fresh cappuccino and relax.
Located very near the entrance of Badaling Great Wall you can enjoy it by day and sometimes by night. Badaling is the only section of the wall
which is occasionally lit up in the evening. There is a spa a short distance which is open from the afternoon until late at night where you can enjoy hot spring baths and even bath in pools of fish that eat the dead skin off you body (for the strong minded!).
Other sights in the area include hiking on a remote section of the wild wall (only for those who really like hiking), Dragon Gorge and an ancient village of caves in the hillside.

Day 1:
Pickup at your hotel
Stop and the Olympic Green and see the Bird's Nest Stadium and Olympic Swim Cube from the outside.
The Ming Tombs and the Sacred Way
Lunch of local Chinese cuisine
Go to Badaling Courtyard hotel, check into your room
Badaling Great Wall, go up and down on cable car
Dinner in Courtyard Hotel
Evening options, not included: Visit Badaling Great Wall at night while lights are on (this is only sometimes, we can check for you). Visit hot spring spa.
Day 2:
Western breakfast
Walk through village near the hotel.
Use of guide and driver for the day to follow your own independent itinerary in Beijing city. Meals and tickets not included.
6pm - end of tour.

Activities on your second day. This can be customized according to your preference but does not include meals or tickets. You have use of the guide and driver until they return you to your hotel in Beijing at 6pm.
Please tip your guide and driver for good service (2:1 ratio for guide:driver).

The Badaling section of the Great Wall is 42 miles / 70 kilometres northwest of Beijing. Once you get outside the city and onto the expressway, the trip to Badaling is normally quick.
