The Great Wall of China Badaling Virtual Tour The Badaling section of the Great Wall of China is likely the most popular and therefore the most touristy and developed. You can hike up snaking sections of walls, enter the watchtowers and see distant views. However you will be sharing this with crowds of other people and plenty of souvenir vendors. Better to visit the Mutianyu section if you want to see a section which is close to Beijing but not as touristy. If you want to do an epic walk on the wall then consider the Simatai section.
