The Harbin Ice Festival began here in 1963. Craftsmen from all over the world compete in an international ice carving contest. Every night you can see the results under colored lights. Also worth a walk in the day you can enjoy the slides too and then exit the park and warm up over lunch or coffee in a Russian cafe.
