China's major cities have international clinics staffed by western doctors catering to foreign travelers and expats. The service and quality are high, as is the price. For any serious medical emergency you will end up in a Chinese hospital as the expat clinics have their limits. Some Chinese hospitals have good facilities and staff who speak some English. For stomach bugs, flus and non-critical ailments the international clinics are good and when a guest has a problem we can accompany you to a clinic or hospital. However you need to pay for care with a credit card or cash and later get reimbursed by your insurance provider.
