Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio, USA

Founder of The China Guide, Peter has a bachelor's degree in "Computer Science" from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and a master's in East Asian Studies/Chinese Language from the University of Minnesota. Throughout the 1980's and 90's, he has worked for Xerox in the USA, Sun Microsystems in Australia and Chinadotcom in Hong Kong. Peter has traveled throughout Asia for over 20 years. As a father of four young children, he is an expert in family travel. As a professional photographer Peter won the Grand Prize in the Beijing Tourism Administration's 2006 photo contest with a photo of the Olympic Swim Cube.
