General Manager / Owner
Hometown: Cleveland, Ohio, USA
Founder of The China Guide, Peter has a bachelor's degree in "Computer Science" from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota and a master's in East Asian Studies/Chinese Language from the University of Minnesota. Throughout the 1980's and 90's, he has worked for Xerox in the USA, Sun Microsystems in Australia and Chinadotcom in Hong Kong. Peter has traveled throughout Asia for over 20 years. As a father of four young children, he is an expert in family travel. As a professional photographer Peter won the Grand Prize in the Beijing Tourism Administration's 2006 photo contest with a photo of the Olympic Swim Cube. Anna Wang 王晓明
Tour Operations and Financial Manager
Hometown: Harbin, China
Anna studied English and accounting at Heilongzhong University. Anna manages all our travel agents, tour operations and handles all matters of finance. It is her management skills which keep our operations ticking along smoothly.
Business Development Manager
Hometown: Chicago, USA
Michelle studied International Affairs and Chinese Studies at DePaul University in Chicago. She came to China in 2008 to study and now works as the Assistant Manager at The China Guide. Michelle handles many jobs including advising the agents on itineraries, marketing, public relations and business development.
Francine Zeng 曾小艳
Hometown: Hunan Province
Francine works closely with clients to help them create custom itineraries for their China adventures. Francine has a bachelor's degree in Tourism from Xi'an International Studies University.
Yan Ban 班妍
Hometown: Xining, Qinghai Province
Yan studied Engineering Management at the Central University of Finance and Economics which led to a career in tourism. Yan organizes show tickets in Beijing, Camp at the Great Wall tours and Beijing itineraries for our clients.
Jenny Jing 荆敏
Hometown: Xinxiang, Henan Province
Jenny studied Travel English at the Nanyang Institute of Technology. She has several years experience helping foreigners plan their travels to China. She works on custom itineraries throughout China for our clients.

Jane studied nursing in the UK and motherhood through her four young children living in Beijing. Jane trains our travel agents in western style customer service and proper methods of communication. She has lived and traveled in China for the better part of a decade. Raising four young children in China has made her something of a family travel expert. She is married to Peter who owns The China Guide.
