 With an element of train travel involved, this tour is the same as our Beijing - Xi'an - Shanghai tour by air, except you travel one leg by train, and overnight in a soft sleeper. This is up to standard with other sleeper trains around the world, is clean, confortable and safe. The four berth compartments lock and are no smoking and you can dine on board. Your guide will show you to your compartment in Beijing, and you will be met on the train track in Xi'an by your Xi'an guide. On the way you can catch a glimpse of the countryside as you arrive in Xi'an in the morning. Also you save on a night's accommodation and train travel is cheaper, so this tour is lower in price than its all air ticket counterpart. |
