This guided tour package is perfect for those seeking to escape from their hectic urban lifestyle. You will start your tour in shanghai (giving you just a taste of China's biggest city) before heading off to the stunning natural scenery of Moganshan, Huangshan, and the villages of Huizhou.

The mountainous region of Moganshan has long been a popular retreat for Shanghai residents and is more so than ever now that the Discovery Adventures Park has opened there. Backed by the world famous Discovery Channel, the park has a huge collection of outdoor activities and challenges, including high ropes courses, zip wires, and a climbing wall. Don't worry though, as you'll have plenty of time to relax at night in one of the area's stylish boutique hotels.

From there you'll travel to Mount Huangshan, or Yellow Mountain, another of China's many landscapes of exceptional beauty. The pine-covered mountains have been painted continuously through China's history and literature is full of yearning to once again see the waxing and waning of the sun over the jagged granite peaks.

Huangshan is close to the region of Huizhou, where you will finish your tour. The villages that dot the lush green countryside in this area are a precious slice of old China, home to many exceptionally preserved examples of Ming dynasty architecture.

Drive to Mt. Huangshan – 260 km, around 4 hours

West Sea Canyon Hike – hike the most beautiful part of the Mount Huangshan area
West Sea Canyon Tram – hike down to the bottom of the canyon and then take the tramway back up the mountain

Sunrise on Bright Peak – witness one of the most-photographed sunrises in China
Morning Hike on the Summit – hike around the summit and enjoy the scenery at your own pace
